Hi, my name is Erik Olson and i’m a travel nut. I play guitar in a progressive sludge metal band called Lord Dying which is what got me started traveling internationally, but quickly I became obsessed with solo travel as well. Visiting over 112 countries, I hope to visit all 197 of them some day. I love seeing the world and experiencing different cultures. Sometimes the world can seem like a scary place but there’s beauty everywhere if you look hard enough. I’ve done all my traveling on a pretty strict budget and hope that I can share some of my experiences and help others that are looking to see the world. Traveling centers me and I think it’s important for everyone to experience. Traveling outside of your comfort zone allows you to learn something you didn’t know about a foreign culture and hopefully something new about yourself as well.
